Modern Farmhouse Style

Modern Farmhouse Style is an eclectic style with a genre of its own. Imagine stealing from an old workshop or press (often anything metal or glass), and some from a barn (doors, windows, floors, furniture, storage, fixtures), redefining their intended purpose and mechanics when you can, and sanitizing and polishing everything in between (walls, floors, storage/cabinets, art).

It is, in a nutshell, a harmonious combination of
- the romantic authenticity and traditional welcoming warmth of Rustic Farmhouse Style,
- the raw elements and bold lines of an often factory-like Industrial Style,
- and the sleek and clean uncluttered and airy impression of Modern Style.

Leading colors are often gray, taupe, beige, A LOT OF white, rust, and blues.
Dominating almost-raw and exposed elements are natural wood, rich and almost dramatic texture and pattern fabric, clear and big glass, bold copper and black metals and wires, and some greenery and branches.

Other common and go-to features are brick or wood wall, the sliding barn door, the white linen sofa and chair cover, the industrial black metal lighting, the distressed wood side table with black metal hardware, the almost-tribal black and white rug or tile, and the worn out natural color leather.
